Crafty Cardmakers DT Card - Own DPs

Morning everyone

I am a bit late posting up this weeks Challenge card for Crafty Cardmakers Spotlight Challenge - We have moved the challenge to its own blog so that we can Challenge ourselves and you on different techniques, products and style. These Challenges are designed to be a little bit more challenging than the main Crafty Cardmakers blog.

So The Challenge this Fortnite was to make your own DPs ( I am a bit dim, so I had to ask what this was before committing lol - Its Design Papers )  - So I used so plain white card and spritzed with Cosmic Shimmers over a mask. Once dried I then cut up into little squares and arrange them on to a piece of card and attached to the main card.  We were given the choice of an image at The Stamping Boutique and I choose Thread, there are some lovely images there, so hop on over and have a look.  I also coloured this in with cosmic shimmers and cut a little strip for thread through the needle.  I used PEEL OFFS ( come on get off the floor, its not often I do) for the sentiment and did some faux stiching around the edges

Hope your all having a fab St Patricks day - Im in my craft room all day today

BLISS

Hugs
Judie xx

This is 'sew' (get it?) clever. Hope you didn't get 'pins n' needles' or lose the 'thread' when you made this...sorry, this is a crappy pun-induced comment!!!
Start again...fab use of my fav' card colours...lime & orange, I can forgive you the use of peel-offs for I too have recently sinned!!! xxx
