This is for a challenge site Alter it Monthly - Slide - Had been looking for ages for a good alter it site, this is really good and flexes your brain cells, not that it takes much to flex mine !!!
I had a mini picture frame that i covered in gesso, then added some blueberry ice inks and gave it a marble effect. Popped a piccie in the middle of us all as a family and added a silver star. Added some glitter and used some cork corners and silvered them up with alcohol inks, added the gemstone and dah dah !!!
They have new challenges monthly so will be looking out for the new one in a couple of days time.

Any winter or Christmas theme was perfectly acceptable so not having a microscope slide was not a problem..
