Hi to all you budding Crafty makers
My Card for the Design team over at www.craftycardmakers.blogspot is all about the colour wheel, pop over and take a look.
This Fortnights challenge is using three colours, well mine are Yellow, Red and Blue (Triatic)
My image came from http://fairycoloringpages.blogspot.com/ - I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. I used Yellow, Red and a touch of Blue inkadinks mixing them together to get a brown and an orange.
First I made the background paper that she is laying on using inkadinks from http://imaginationcrafts.co.uk, take a look at there inks and pigments, i use them so much and have just aquired the vintage set, so lush.
I then stamped out loads of butterflys and coloured them using the same colours but added the mica pigments. I have used tim holtz butterflys grungeboard and folded them together to make a bit of dimesion to them. I sat the little butterfly on a handmade flower. I have used distress inks to give it more of a grunge look. I love this card and it shows how far Ive come from all that i have learned.
CHALLENGE 15 - TRICOLOUR (COLOUR WHEEL)
