My recycled belt and package into a nest xx

Evening campers

Heres a nest that i made for our Ditzy-Craftymess Challenge - Alter a belt/make a nest

this is the finished article

I started with some plastic packaging stuff

Heated and moulded it with my heat gun, interesting what you can do with this stuff

the inside glued up with tissue papers and sprays

I sprayed the outside with one coat as well

Next came my belt with had been cut and shredded !!! ((never liked it as a belt anyway)) ((yes that plaster is covering one of many burns from that dam hot glue gun))

This is the finished inside of my nest

And this is the final finished and decorated nest/belt

Im very very chuffed with it, it now holds all those little bits and bobs that just have no where to really live lol

So i would like to enter this into the following challenges

Right time to go blog hopping

Judie xx

what a clever idea! This came out really cute and who would have thought of that with the packaging - well done!

Yep, I see the tickets (and that sure meets our OG theme this time) but I also love the little bits here and there that were added, and a recycled belt's fibers? amazing.

Nice to be able to have a little catchall that is original and pretty to look at!

Thanks for participating with us at Opus Gluei!
