My First ever Altered CD

Morning Crafters

Just a quickie today, as Im off out and not much time today

This is my first ever Altered CD

I made this for our Altered Monthly Group over at Craftymess - Both Caro and I are running this and this was Caros choice, so Mine is starting now and I have chosen Alter a Box !!!  Any Box will do, theres lots you can do with an old box.

I used some gorjuss papers that I had been hogging for far too long from papermania, distressed the edges, made the flowers from sticky finger sprays and added some embossing to it, as usual a Sir Tim Salvage sticker is slapped in the middle.  I had to use Sir Tim products somewhere lol

Dont forget theres still the DT position open at ATC Challenge Blog - so head on over and have a mushy at it

Have a great day everyone

Judie xx

Hmmm! I know a few CD's that need altering...in fact they should NEVER have been released as CD's in the first place. they should be removed from shelves, dropped from a great height, stomped on & then burnt to a crisp!!!! Love this idea xx

I was just about to comment and I decided to have a quick trawl through the others and I found Jane's comment, and I was thinking something very similar, lol

Wouldn't it be an excellent idea for a cheating lover, turn his cd collection into altered art and pin it up round his house! Who knows, if it's as beautiful as this one he might even prefer it to Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds' Murder Ballads!!!! Music to slit your throat to if ever there was.

Waffling, when what I meant to say was. Fabulous!!!
