tutorial on an Altered Drawer set

Hi everyone, 

Heres what I have been busy messing around with, Im really chuffed with it and how it turned out

What do you think ? I love it now, not sure whether to put some feet on it or not ?

My altered book for a swap

Afternoon Crafty folks

This is a book I have made from scratch for a swap - Her fav colour is pink !! 

I HATE PINK lol

but here it is 

I kind of like it now and am warming to PINK !! helpppppppppppppp

Laces came from a little fabric shop in town

Papers are lost and found my minds eye 

Flowers from a good friend

Captured Butterflys

Hi crafty Friends, 

I have given my blog a revamp as well as my craft room 

I have been working on this Hexagon Bird Cage and Im finally happy with it 

I coated it with Orange Colour wash first, then mod podged it to give it someshine, I then , sat a coloured all the flower and leave borders and added them.  I have used 16 different butterflys and used the colour wash on them as well.

Its Saturday, time for me and the smelly one to spend our day together,

Organza Rolls 1.5 metres on each £1.00 BARGIN !!

Some lace off cuts in the market £1.00 

A pair of earings and a necklace, both can be cut down and reused for £1.50

I got these from my "epic" daughter !!

Bargains for Saturday

Afternoon Crafters 

Every Saturday, I put aside time to go walkabouts with my little one whos 7, we go somewhere for lunch and then do a different town each week.

Shes very into White witch stuff at the mo, so our mission this week was to get some bits for her

So we went to RIOs a recycling place, we got all these ribbons and 10 jars and some pegs for £2.00 !!

I know bargain !! 

We then had a stroll around the town and found a fabric shop, boy did I have fun in there, they had a massive basket with lots of laces done up in buddles for 50p and 75p, perfect for finishing my dressform. 

The trims were £1.00 each, a girl never has enough does she :) 

So Now im making a witches broom out of a walking stick and some reeds !!
